Renú® CE is an injectable calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) implant that is indicated as a soft tissue bulking agent for subdermal implantation and also as an injectable vocal fold implant used to correct vocal fold insufficiency. Renú® CE is a buffered hydrogel containing synthetic CaHA particles 25 to 45 microns in size.

Renú ® CE can be used as a dermal filler to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles, folds, and for the restoration or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy). For aesthetic treatments, the implant can be injected subdermally.
Renú® CE is indicated for vocal fold medialization and vocal fold insufficiency that may be improved by injection of a soft tissue-bulking agent. Renú® CE injection augments the size of the displaced or deformed vocal fold so that it may meet the opposing vocal fold at the midline for improved phonation. Vocal fold insufficiency associated with serious aspiration difficulty may be an urgent indication. Renú® CE is an injectable vocal fold implant intended for long-lasting results for non-permanent restoration and augmentation. For voice treatments, The implant can be injected percutaneously or with Renú® Transoral Needle supplied separately.
